For Dr. Allen, there is truly nothing better than being able to change the life of a patient who no longer feels embarrassed or ashamed about their smile! Dr. Allen worked as a dental assistant in a pediatric dental office for six years while attending college. She immediately fell in love with the field! Attending LSU’s dental school became her biggest dream, and the rest is history. Dentistry may not always be easy, but it is rewarding, and today, she strives to be not only highly compassionate but also the most attentive listener possible every step of the way.
Dr. Allen earned her dental doctorate at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Since then, she has pursued continuing education on a variety of topics, including veneers, Invisalign, endodontics, and general leadership. She is currently a proud member of the following dental organizations:
Dr. Allen is married with a special fur-baby (a Shih-poo) named Gigi Mama. In her spare time away from the practice, you can often find her hiking, kayaking, rollerblading, and generally being a HUGE sci-fi nerd – she loves Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Witcher, and plenty of other novels and movies. She’s also great at pinball and even plays competitively at tournaments!
